Broad Match (search terms are mostly suitable)
Broad Match is a keyword option that Google uses to play ads. At Broad Match, Google places an ad as soon as a user has entered a search term that is similar to an ad’s keyword. If this keyword option is selected, the impressions are usually high. Accordingly, wastage and return on investment (ROI) can also be high.
Dynamic search ads (DSA campaigns)
With dynamic search ads, Google adjusts the keywords of an ad to the advertised products and services on the landing page. The keywords no longer have to be edited manually. The advantages of dynamic search ads are that Google considers relevant keywords in the ads that could be forgotten during manual entry. The relevance, impressions and conversion of dynamic search ads can be higher than that of “normal” ads.
Phrase Match
This keyword option considers entire blocks of words as relevant keywords. When searching for users, some of the terms entered must match the keywords of the Google ad. Compared to Broad Match, this keyword option generates less traffic, but more relevant. The impressions and scatter losses are slightly lower with this keyword option, the ROI is better.
Modified Broad Match
The broad match keyword option takes into account different spellings (singular, plural, misspellings) of the keywords stored in the ads. The order of the keywords entered is not critical. The impressions with the Modified Broad Match option are usually high, as are the scatter losses. The return on investment (ROI) is usually low with this keyword option.
Exact Match
With this option, Google only displays advertisements when the exact keywords are entered. Variations in the spelling or declinations of words are not taken into account. With this keyword option, impressions and wastage are lower. The ROI can be higher with the Exact Match option than with the other variants because the traffic is much more relevant.
Landing page
A landing page (often called a landing page) is displayed to the user after clicking on a text ad. It can be created especially for a Google Ad. Landing pages can often not be accessed via the navigation of a website. The aim of a landing page is to generate a conversion. A conversion can be, for example, a product purchase or the sending of an inquiry (for a service). A good landing page fulfills the expectations of the customers and coincides with the search query. Cleverly designed landing pages can increase conversion.
